Dates of Competition
Friday, July 25, 2008, 6PM – 10PM
Saturday, July 26, 2008, 9AM – 6PM

Tentative Venue
Ngee Ann Polytechnic Block 56
Lecture Theatre (TBC)

Registration
Participants are free to form teams that represent their own schools or teams that comprise of members from different schools. Teams are to retrieve registration forms from the clubhouse door ( located about canteen one) and return them to the same location by 10th July 2008.

Also, there would be 2 compulsory trainings of formal debate training for all participants before the competition. One session of optional training is also open should you decide that you need it.

Note: CCA points would definitely be awarded to all participants!

Refreshments would be provided as well as a buffet on the 19th of July :D

WELLLLLL, these arent the only benefits for sure!
It would definitely help to overcome your fears in speaking in front of a group of audience. You'd learn to be creative in putting your points across to audiences as well as the ability to think on your feet. Not to mention making you more confident!
It would definitely benefit you in presentations and your awareness to whats going on OUT of singapore. trust me. haha

Date: 1st March 2008

Time: 5pm to 9pm (approximately)

Venue: Ngee Ann City Seoul Garden

Meeting place: Ngee Ann City (fountain)

Attire: Smart casual

* Dinner will be self funded.

Okay. I'm sure that you have receive Jacinthe's mail regarding on the "inter-polys minutes" thingy. Read through the document.

Since we must register at 9a.m and the group draw is conducted at 9.35a.m, we ~~shall~~ MUST meet at 8.15a.m at Dover station. This is because I know that I some of us will be late, and we need time to calm ourselves at the competiiton venue anyway.

Next thing, I'm sure you know that there will be an pre-competition briefing at SP on this Fri, at 6p.m. Jacinthe expects everyone (except for David, Kenneth) to be there for the breifing.

I know, some of you finish at 6p.m, but try to make it. 'cause they will brief us on the exact debating room and show us around the venue etc. ~~If really desperate, pon your lesson lor~~. I mean, this briefing will definitely be benefical for us during sat, and it will be good for us to attend; especially for the school teams.

Venue for the briefing is also stated in the mail which Jacinthe mass-sent to everyone.

Hey guys! The T-shirt design and colour has been confirmed and sent for printing. It will be a white polo tee with heat transfer print in front and silk screen print for the back.

Cost : $36 per piece ( high price is due to the small number of tees printed )
